ASA AERO EXHAUST NORTHWEST TOUR ADDS RACE TO YAKIMA SPEEDWAY

April 5, 2008 Ellensburg, WA – Officials of the ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Tour Presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment made the announcement today that they have added a race to the 2008 schedule.

Yakima Speedway in Yakima, Washington will host a race on Saturday April 26. Ron Bennett Series Director stated, “With the rain out of the season opening race last week at Evergreen Speedway, Yakima promoter Ted Pollock graciously offered to host a third ASANWT race. This added race will keep the schedule at 10-races”.

The race for the ASANWT will be sponsored by Burrows Tractor. The fabled .500-mile oval will be a strong test for the Northwest’s best Late Model Stock Car drivers. The race distance will be 125-laps.

In addition to the ‘Burrows Tractor 125’ the local ASA Super Stocks and Hobby Stocks will be a part of the night’s activities.

Backgates will open at 11:00am followed by practice sessions for the three divisions. Qualifying is at 5:00pm with the racing starting at 7:00pm.
