I think i have oil in my 2001 Ford Taurus radiator over flow tank?
Hello Folks,
I’ve got a 2001 Ford Taurus with 99,000 miles. On Sunday, I was doing a basic check just to make sure everything was okay. Well, when I opened the radiator overflow tank, I saw white residue all over the cap. I tried to look inside the tank, it was too dark and it looked like oil?... I haven’t had any problem with my car. Any idea what that might be? I was thinking about re-flushing the whole system.....

Answer:
The only way you can get oil in the coolant is from a blown head gasket or cracked block or head. Big$.
